Life Quest
Ula is a barbaric land...carrying a past filled with greed and broken promises. It's a desert continent with harsh winds and a scorching sun. History on this country is extremely hard to find, for it's all been either destroyed for buried under oceans of sand. It's up to you to try and find your lost past and repiece to together- ultimately restoring your country to it's former glory!
Age
This the Age of Corruption 106 A.D.
Map
The humans conjugate around the ruins of Cestiberg, former grand capital of Ula. It's now decimated, but provides some shelter from the elements. The area around Nemo Nyn and Cestiberg is known as "The Kingdom of Arohehild" to the humans inhabiting it. There are rivers and a small lake called "Rosea Lake" that provides the territory with fresh water.
The elves prefer to stay to the north, in Caladel Forest. The forest is said to have been erected by their ancestors years before and it still stands to this day. The elves were driven north by greedy humans, wishing to steal their knowledge. The elves know this, and there is now an animosity between the two races.
Their territory is called the "Evitosi" and their forest is said to have a lake running through it, but it is impossible to know, for the elves rarely speak about their homeland to those of a different race.
The dwarves have locked themselves up in Farex Peak. They seem content in pretending the world is fine, when in reality is is crashing down around them.
The gnomes live in the island to the north west, Kedis. The race is virtually forgotten, since no one on Ula has a boat.
The southern islands house humans and elves alike. They have been living there since the beginning, and know send dragons to find out what's happening in Ula. The people in those regions tend to be more scholarly, and have the greatest library left in Ula. There is a large bridge that connects each island to each other.
The islands to the east are inhabited by the magic obsessed of the country. Two mage towers still stand there, from before Ula was thrown into disrepair. The people of Dinte Isle and Pyx Fim were mages of the past, and are clinging to their magic. The towers give off the power, so the mages live around it. They only wish for the gods to return and their full power restored, so they can wander the continent again with their magic.
The western territories are "home" to the nomadic people and caravans of different villages. Traders have set up a huge market in the Hills of Afnum, there is a ferryman who charges outrageous prices for the use of his airship, and the half-elves have taken up residence in Fort Ata- barring all those who aren't like them out.
Who?
Ula had begun with 9 gods, but it slowly dwindled to 7. The gods control the elements, the sky and (used to) the thoughts of mortals. An evil goddess ( before being banished) cast a curse on the continent of Ula, so, the gods now have to become mortal to walk the earth... And they can't affect anything with their deity magic that isn't on their plane.
